Rockets' Marquese Chriss out with ankle injury

Rockets center Marquese Chriss, who was listed as questionable with a sprained left ankle, was ruled out, with Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni suggesting Chriss' return is not imminent.

D'Antoni said, "It's going to take a while to get back in shape." But he added that practice time is not all that is keeping Chriss from playing for the first time this season.

"He is still hurting a little bit," D'Antoni said.

Chriss said he has not been given a timetable for his return.

"It's feeling a lot better," Chriss said. "I'm just working out with (John) Lucas (the Rockets head of player development).
