Fred VanVleet offered a dose of advice to teammate Jalen Green from his postgame podium after a Game 4 loss in Golden State on Monday night. It appears VanVleet heeded his own advice in Wednesday’s Game 5 blowout victory.
"Go out guns blazing," VanVleet said postgame Monday. "Unload the clip and let it fly."
Unload the clip indeed. VanVleet led all scorers with 26 points on 8-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's 131-116 win at Toyota Center, scoring 14 first-quarter points to narrow the Warriors' series lead to 3-2 in the best-of-seven battle.
