Rockets wing Gerald Green, who limped off the floor in Thursday’s game in Tokyo, is believed to have a broken left foot with further tests scheduled for Monday to confirm the diagnosis and determine if surgery will be required, a person with knowledge of the situation said on Sunday.
Green was hurt in the preseason game against the Raptors shortly after a spectacular put-back dunk, leaving the court several possessions later.
The Rockets initially hoped that the injury was a sprain, but examinations on Sunday indicated a break.
