Rockets' Eric Gordon seeking consistency in his comeback

After a pair of strong shooting performances in his first two games back from knee surgery, Rockets guard Eric Gordon made just 3 of 13 shots, 2 of 10 3-pointers against the 76ers on Friday. Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni, however, said that sort of inconsistency is to be expected after a six-week layoff.

“He’s going to have some periods his shot doesn’t go or it’s going to take him a little while,” D’Antoni said. “Usually, you start off really well, then you have a little dip, then you come back He just has to power through it.”

Overall, since missing 22 games after his arthroscopic knee surgery on Nov.
