Rockets drop Game 3 to Timberwolves

MINNEAPOLIS – More than 5,000 days had passed since playoff basketball was played in the Target Center. So, Saturday was set to be a special evening for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Their fans were ready. Happily waving "Howl Towels" every time the home team made a nice play.

The stadium scoreboard made it clear: "The Playoffs Are Back," "Let's Make A Statement," "It's Our Court Now."

Even Jiggly Boy, the local legend who used to go shirtless and jiggle his ample midsection to the delight of the Target Center crowd during the Timberwolves' heyday, was back for a surprise appearance.
