Rockets' Dillon Brooks thinks reputation played role in preseason ejection

Dillon Brooks was ejected within the first five minutes of his Houston Rockets' debut Tuesday night at the Toyota Center. Based on Brooks's postgame comments, Houston's free-agent addition didn't exactly agree with the dismissal.

Brooks was given a flagarant-2 foul and ejected after he caught Indiana Pacers center Daniel Theis with a below-the-belt shot. Brooks noted postgame he didn't intend to hit Theis with any sort of cheap shot, adding his reputation as "Dillon the Villain" played a role in his ejection.
