Rockets climb out of early hole to overcome Spurs

The Rockets made sure they would not blow another lead to the Spurs.

This time, everything would be different. Instead of leading by 22, they trailed by 25. James Harden’s dunk was worth two points. Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni got his challenge and won it.

Most of all, the Rockets rallied back and made enough plays in the fourth quarter to get the win that got away in San Antonio, topping the Spurs, 109-107, on Monday.

Russell Westbrook led the Rockets with 31, carrying the Rockets when everything else went wrong. James Harden added 28, escaping a horrible start.
