Rockets add Daishen Nix and Tyler Bey

The Houston Rockets made some roster moves yesterday, signing guard Daishan Nix from G-League Ignite and forward Tyler Bey, who played for the Dallas Mavericks last season. Both players are on Exhibit-10 deals, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen.

The 6’5” Nix was an ex- UCLA recruit who decided to forgo University and instead signed with the G-League. He’s a former five-star recruit who was regarded as one of the top point guards in 2020. He’s just 19 years old, so he still has plenty of growing to do, but he averaged 8.
