Sometimes it’s difficult to know what to say about a VSL game.
The Rockets and the Magic were without the 2nd and 5th pick in this year’s draft, respectively. Both Jalen Green, and Jalen Suggs have had good Summer League outings, and both a missing time mostly as a precaution for minor injuries.
The Rockets, however, didn’t appear to build their Summer League team with anything other than “Get the first rounders and our likely back of the roster guys on the court.”
The Magic had some guards, and moreover seemed to be content to send a parade of large, reasonably competent, old-style bigs rumbling down the lane.
