Kevin Durant sat courtside at an empty Paycom Center in Oklahoma City late Tuesday morning, insisting that his upcoming game against the Thunder was no different than any of the other 17 season openers. Oklahoma City's fans quickly refuted Durant's view Tuesday night.
Durant, who earned seven All-Star nods in eight seasons with Oklahoma City, was met with boos from the OKC crowd during his pregame introduction before the Opening Night battle. Three Houston Rockets starters earned a smattering of boo's from Thunder fans during pregame intros, while Houston center—and fellow former OKC standout—Steven Adams received a raucous applause.
