James Harden's late game shot lifts Rockets past Nuggets

With the stop the Rockets had to have falling to James Harden's hands, he had one last chance. It was all he needed.

The Rockets were down a point and down to their final possession when Harden grabbed the rebound of Jameer Nelson's airball 3 and took off the other way.

When Harden put in his layup with 2.4 seconds left, he lifted the Rockets past the Nuggets, 125-124, on Monday, finishing with 39 points in a stirring comeback.

Harden added 11 assists and seven rebounds, with six Rockets players scoring in double figures and the Rockets getting huge fourth quarters from Pat Beverley and Eric Gordon.
