ORLANDO – For a s long as the Magic could hang around, barely within range, there never really was a doubt for one reason.
The Rockets had James Harden and it had already become clear it would be one of those nights. In the case of the Rockets’ two-game road trip, it was another one of those nights.
The Magic made a move. Harden demolished it, finishing with 54 points a game after he scored 55, driving the Rockets to 130-107 romp past the Magic.
Harden matched the franchise record of 10 3-pointers he shared with Chandler Parsons for the second-consecutive game, this time needing just 15 attempts (after taking 17 from deep on Wednesday) to score at least 50 in consecutive games for the fifth time in his career.
