James Harden cuts Nike logo off his socks, but that has nothing to do with Colin Kaepernick

Some folks got really upset when Nike published an advertisement starring Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who has become a polarizing figure ever since he began kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racism.

Videos of people burning their Nike gear started showing up on social media and John Rich from the band Big and Rich posted on Twitter that his sound guy cut the Nike logos off his socks as a form of protest.
