Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard finished Sunday's 130-99 loss to the San Antonio Spurs with just 13 points and eight rebounds, thus ending his 16-game streak of double-doubles in contests against the Spurs, per Elias Sports Bureau.
Howard's run was the longest active streak of its kind for any one player against any one team, stretching all the way back to April 2010 when he was still playing for the Orlando Magic, per basketball-reference.com's play index.
While the last few years have included some trying times for the 30-year-old center, he always seems to step up to the challenge against a San Antonio team that is consistently near the top of a loaded Western Conference.
