Tonight’s game between the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs will go a long way toward determining the winner of the Southwest Division. At the very least, the game will determine the tiebreaker between these two teams. If Houston wins, they win the tiebreaker outright on the back of a 3-1 head-to-head record. If San Antonio wins, the Spurs win the tiebreaker due to a better division record than Houston.
The Spurs sit three games back of the Rockets, but just had a 9-game winning streak of their own snapped. San Antonio found their groove after a disastrous Rodeo Road Trip in February.
