Writing a preview post-deadline is tough. It's a little bit easier since we know the Rockets didn't add any new players. In fact, Houston gave up a rotation piece (Marcus Thornton) and a player who would have been in the rotation if he wasn't injured (Donatas Motiejunas).
Tonight and moving forward, we can expect Jason Terry to absorb most of Thornton's minutes. Gradually, we might see K.J. McDaniels and Sam Dekker get minutes backing up James Harden, but that depends on their progression and Houston's position in the standings.
