The Rockets have only won once in Miami in the last ten years.
Last season, the Rockets (outside of James Harden) laid an egg in Miami, and Kevin McHale made a comment about how “it’s always something with the Rockets in Miami.” That was a poorly-veiled jab at Harden’s lifestyle choices, but Harden was the only Rocket that seemed to try in that contest, getting a 40-point triple double.
The Rockets played last night in Brooklyn, so it’s unlikely that the team was out clubbing super late. Plus, the team is older and more mature than last year’s squad.
