Here’s why:
As per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, since mid-July, the Houston Rockets are in hot pursuit of Carmelo Anthony in a trade.
Anthony has already told New York Knicks new general manager Scott Perry that he will only waive his no-trade clause to join the Houston Rockets.
Anthony just turned 33-years-old — out of his prime years, in my opinion — in last May and has continued to nurse a knee injury since 2015, where he suffered a partial tear of the left patellar tendon. Anthony has missed 60 games in the last three years, which is concerning.
