After Game 7’s heartbreaking loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Houston Rockets had high expectations entering this season with championship expectations. With James Harden coming off an MVP season and Chris Paul fresh off his best year in which he quarterbacked the Rockets backcourt to 65 wins, it seemed fitting that Houston would be ready to take the crown as NBA champions soon.
Well, so far, this season has been troubling, to say the least. The Rockets got off to a horrible start going 11-14. Carmelo Anthony‘s presence with the Rockets couldn’t get them going and he was just traded to the Bulls.
