Harden loses MVP trophy to Antetokounmpo, and Rockets fans take to Twitter to voice displeasure

The chase for the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player Award is over.

James Harden did not win it.

The guard once again put up an insanely prolific stat line, averaging a league best 36 points per game (the Thunder's Paul George finished second in that stat with just over 28 points per game). Harden also averaged almost 8 steals, 7 rebounds and two steals per game.

But, in the end, a younger player, one with greater athleticism and lesser stats took home that trophy.
