As often as Gregg Popovich has echoed the sentiments of many coaches that Rudy Tomjanovich belongs in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, when he said on Monday that Tomjanovich has long had the credentials for induction, he seemed to indicate that Tomjanovich should not still be waiting for that call.

The Class of 2020 nominees will be announced on Thursday. Finalists are announced Feb. 14, 2020. The next Hall of Fame class will be announced April 14 in Atlanta.
