For most NBA players who have been traded between teams, getting their professional lives in order is the top priority. But for former Houston Rockets leader Dillon Brooks, the tough-minded defender who was recently traded along with Jalen Green to the Phoenix Suns for superstar Kevin Durant, personal safety is top of mind.

On Wednesday, Brooks filed for a temporary restraining order in the city of Los Angeles against Heather Andrews, the mother of his two children, aged five and two, respectively. According to TMZ, Brooks claims that Andrews threatened him with violence, as well as issued threats to his property, and that she accessed his social media accounts without permission.
