DeAndre Jordan's high school jersey retired in Kingwood

Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan had his high school basketball jersey retired at Christian Life Center Academy in Kingwood on Thursday.

Jordan was accompanied by Clippers teammates when his No. 12 jersey, which commemorated his high school, college, professional and Olympic career, was retired. He played his senior season at Christian Life Center Academy after transferring from Episcopal.

During his season at Christian Life Center Academy, Jordan was named to the first-team All-Greater Houston squad by the Houston Chronicle and set a school record for garnering 20 blocks in a game.

Jordan played one collegiate season at Texas A&M before being drafted by the Clippers with the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft.
