Legendary military pilot Chuck Yeager was introduced at Sunday’s game to a standing ovation, but Mike and Laurel D’Antoni especially wanted the chance to meet him.
“He may be the most famous West Virginian we have,” Mike D’Antoni said. “Being from West Virginia and growing up with West Virginia history, he was a main part of that. What he has done for this country, it was an honor to be able to talk to him. That’s the first time I ever met him. My wife had to run after him to make sure that he got back here.
