Chris Paul injury: Point guard to miss 2nd straight game Saturday vs. Mavericks

According to Jonathan Feigen, guard Chris Paul is out for tomorrow night’s contest versus the Mavericks.

Originally, Paul’s injury was viewed to be an ankle injury that he suffered in Tuesday’s win against Golden State, but Feigen also reports that this injury stems from last Wednesday’s preseason game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies in a collision with Mario Chalmers.

Paul, 32, is in his 13th season in the NBA. He’s racked up some mileage and is going to be an integral part of this team all year long. To aggravate an injury now would be devastating for the team.
