OAKLAND, Calif. - Austin Rivers was signed days after Chris Paul was hurt and moved into the starting lineup in just his third game with the Rockets after the injury to Eric Gordon. But as he suggested even before his first practice with the team, the adjustment was not difficult because there barely was an adjustment at all.
"It's just basketball, man," Rivers said. "I don't put too much into adapting. Just go play basketball. Play hard, compete, just do what you do. You know what you do well. You know what you don't. Just go have fun, compete, shoot your shots, be aggressive.
