Rockets Rumors: LeBron return to Miami "not a done deal," Rockets' chances?

In today's Rockets rumors and news update, the Houston Rockets could very well be in the mix for a run at Miami Heat superstar LeBron James if a recent report from ESPN's Chris Broussard proves true.

According to Broussard, a James return to Miami isn't exactly set in stone at this juncture:

“It’s not a done deal,” said one source, when asked about James’ return to Miami. “That’s for sure.”

Bosh and Wade were so uncertain about James’s future after last week’s meeting that one of them spoke about what the Heat might look like without James, according to one source.

The trio met last Wednesday to discuss a potential return to the four-time defending Eastern Conference champions. However, while Bosh and Wade seem to be sold on giving it one more go, James is said to still be weighing his options.

If that is indeed true, don't be surprised if the Rockets are among the first teams to make an overture at the ten-time NBA All-Star - providing they don't land Knicks free agent Carmelo Anthony in the interim.

(However, if they can somehow wait and win the James sweepstakes first, there is still that floating rumor around about a potential James Harden for LeBron James sign-and-trade...)
