Three Houston Dynamo Academy players were named to 2017-2018 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Central Conference Best XI teams. Heriberto Soto and Marcelo Palomino were named to the U-17 team, and Jesse Ortiz earned a spot on the U-19 XI.

Soto, a forward, scored 17 goals in 25 games for the Dynamo U-19s and four goals in the three games he played for the U-17s this season. Palomino also primarily played with the U-19s, also scoring 17 goals in 25 games.
