The Houston Dynamo are set to face off against Liga MX side C.F. Monterrey in the annual BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup. The Dynamo faced off against Monterrey in the tournaments inaugural year where the Dynamo were able to come up with a 2-1 win at Robertson Stadium with goals coming from Geoff Cameron and Dominic Oduro.
This is the 10th year that the Dynamo have held their Charities Cup game. They’ve faced off against various international competition including: English sides Bolton, Aston Villa, and Stoke along with Liga MX sides Santos Laguna and Cruz Azul and Spanish clubs Valencia and Real Sociedad.
