The Houston Dynamo got a little deeper Monday as the front office was busy making a move prior to the first transfer window closing May 1st. The Dynamo acquired Luis Gil on loan from the Liga MX side Queretaro. To get the deal done the Dynamo had to send Real Salt Lake, who held Gil’s MLS rights, the club’s fourth round pick of the 2019 Superdraft along with future considerations for Gil’s 2018 season rights.
Luis Gil will fit in well in Wilmer Cabrera’s system as he is often utilized as an attacking midfielder, but can also play on the left or right side of the field which should see him get some minutes.
