Second-half strikes sink Dynamo against Tigres UANL

Dynamo goalkeeper Joe Willis was stout through most of the night, splitting and sliding to keep balls out of the net.

But in a four-minute stretch, it all crumbled for the Dynamo as Tigres UANL scored successive goals to top Houston 2-0 in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals at BBVA Compass Stadium on Tuesday night.

“I think the first half was very good, even. They didn’t create many chances but we didn’t create many chances,” Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera said. “The problem for me was in the second half we were losing the ball too easy up front.
