RGV FC are coming off a 1-0 loss to league leaders Phoenix Rising FC in their last match on June 13. Phoenix forward Adam Jahn scored his tenth goal of the season in the 62nd minute after goalkeeper Tyler Deric, on a one-match loan to RGV from the parent club Houston Dynamo, was unable to successfully clear Jahn’s header, which came off a cross from forward Solomon Asante, who added to his league lead in assists.
