The Houston Dynamo recorded their first shutout of the season with a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew SC Saturday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Mauro Manotas opened the scoring three minutes into the match, tapping in a cross from Alberth Elis after La Pantera stole the ball from a Columbus defender. Tomás Martínez capped the scoring in the second half, ripping in a half-volley after Manotas' cross was parried away by goalkeeper Zack Steffen.
