The Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Sporting took the lead in the second half as a ball over the top fell to Yohan Croizet and he chipped his shot over the onrushing Joe Willis. Alberth Elis equalized in the 69th minute with a volley after A.J. DeLaGarza headed Maynor Figueroa's diagonal cross back towards the middle of the back.
