Generation adidas Cup qualifying finished up at Houston Sports Park for the U-15 and U-17 Group B teams on Monday.
U-15 – Sporting Kansas City 1, Chicago Fire 1 (Kansas City wins 5-4 on penalties)
Dalton Visconti opened the scoring for Sporting Kansas City on a breakaway after a tough, defensive start to the match. Chicago leveled the match as Justin Reynolds converted a penalty kick, but both teams were unable to convert later chances as regulation ended in a 1-1 draw. In penalties, both teams converted four of their first five penalties, but in sudden-death it was Sporting Kansas City who was able to convert.
