A muscular problem late in Saturday's match cut short Philippe Senderos' Dynamo debut, but up to that point he and coach Wilmer Cabrera said they liked what they saw.
Signed on Aug. 7, the 32-year old Swiss center back had not played a competitive game since a Scottish Premier League fixture for Rangers FC against Ross County in February.
After watching him train with the Dynamo for the last month, Cabrera chose Senderos to start in place of regular starter Leonardo in Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids.
Cabrera said he liked the way Senderos' organization, the way he played with the ball at his feet and the way he won balls in the air.
