NWSL celebrates new TV deal

While most of us were focused on firing up the grill and getting ready for a fireworks celebration on the Fourth of July, the National Women’s Soccer League was doing a little celebrating of their own. The NWSL announced a major signing with ESPN to televise 14 matches in the second half of the season. Fourteen matches will air across the ESPN network and livestream on the ESPN App.

“NWSL is a global leader in women’s professional soccer, with collectively the most talented players in the world. Together with the reach of ESPN’s vast network, we have the opportunity to bring more games to a broader audience across the country and world,” said NWSL President Amanda Duffy.
