The Houston Dynamo in their first official outing since Wade Barrett was named the interim head coach resulted in a 4-0 U.S.Open Cup fourth round win over San Antonio FC on Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Since the departure of Owen Coyle three weeks ago to the day this has been a different Dynamo side. Focused, poised and workmanlike in their last three matches two of them resulting in road draws and now an Open Cup victory. This is more like the team that president Chris Canetti and the organization envisioned when the MLS season kicked off 14 games ago.
