Carli Lloyd's second-half brace made the difference in Houston's victory over Boston
Carli Lloyd's second-half brace led the Houston Dash to acommanding to a 4-1 victory over the Boston Breakers at BBVA Compass Stadium on Military Appreciation & First Responders night.
Lloyd received a through pass from Kealia Ohai and rocketed a left-footed strike into the top corner past Jami Kranich. Ohai, who was shutout on Wednesday at Portland, continued her breakout season, scoring her league leading tenth goal in the 35th minute. Janine Beckie made a run down the right flank and sent in her cross to the far post, Ohai got on the end of the ball and tucked home her finish into the empty net.
