There has not been an official announcement, but it appears Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd will not play again for the Dash this season.
Lloyd has been out since Aug. 13 when she sprained her left ankle in a game against FC Kansas City. She has missed five games.
The two-time reigning FIFA Women's Player of the Year has done most of her rehab outside of Houston but returned for the Dash's final home game Saturday night. She watched the 3-2 loss to the Chicago Red Stars from the bench.
The Dash have two games remaining. The first is Wednesday at H-E-B Park in Edinburgh.
