Houston Dynamo sign Adam Lundqvist

The Houston Dynamo have signed Swedish defender Adam Lundqvist. The team used Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) to acquire Lunqvist who will occupy an International roster spot. While the left-footed player primarily plays on defense he also has experience as a central midfielder. The 24-year-old joined IF Elfsborg’s senior squad in 2011. He started out with their U19 team and worked his way up to the senior team. Since signing with the senior team he has scored three goal and 15 assists.

Lundqvist has played in two games for the Swedish National team including his senior debut in January of 2016.
