The Houston Dynamo have loaned GK Michael Nelson to Rio Grande Valley FC for their match against Phoenix Rising FC tonight at 9:30 p.m., the club announced today.
Nelson has earned a 1-1-0 record with RGV FC this season and has made eight saves in his two appearances for the Toros this year. The goalkeeper made his season debut on the road in Tulsa on March 29 and joined the Toros in a 5-2 victory over Las Vegas Lights FC on April 20. Nelson joins an RGV FC squad that is unbeaten in its last five games and finished with a 3-0-2 record in May.
