The Houston Dynamo have loaned midfielder Eric Bird, defender Alejandro Fuenmayor and forwards Ronaldo Peña and Michael Salazar to Rio Grande Valley FC for their match against Austin Bold FC on Sunday, the club announced today.
The match is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. CDT kickoff at Bold Stadium in the state capital and will be streamed live on ESPN+. The Toros will be seeking back-to-back victories after last weekend’s 1-0 victory over El Paso Locomotives at H-E-B Park.
Bird will be returning to RGV for the 10th time this season and the midfielder scored the game-winning goal last weekend against Austin.
