Another Houston professional sports team is set to begin postseason play this weekend.
The Houston Dash will make their NWSL playoff debut on Sunday against the Kansas City Current, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. at PNC Stadium. This will mark the first trip to the playoffs for the club, which is in its ninth season.
Houston finished fourth in the NWSL standings at 10-6-6.
"We are absolutely thrilled to clinch our spot in the 2022 playoffs," Houston Dash president Jessica O’Neill said, via the club's site.
