Houston Dash forward Kealia Ohai was named to the NWSL Team of the Month for June, by the NWSL Media Association earlier today.
Since the Team of the Month was first awarded in 2017, this is Ohai’s second mention. She previously earned a spot on the team in April 2017. Ohai is the fourth Dash player this season to earn a spot on the Team of the Month, joining GK Jane Campbell (March), DF/FW Rachel Daly (March, May) and MF Kristie Mewis (May). Since the award was founded, six Dash players have combined for nine Team of the Month mentions.
