Houston Dash forward Rachel Daly was called in to the England Women’s National Team’s June training camp under head coach Hege Riise, the Football Association announced this morning.
Daly will join the Lionesses on Monday, June 7 for a six-day training camp ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Earlier this month, the Dash captain was named to the Team Great Britain Football Squad alongside players from Ireland and Wales. This marks the Dash captain’s first-ever call up to an Olympic squad.
Daly has earned 38 caps for the Lionesses and scored four goals while splitting time at forward and outside back.
