As the weeks moved on and the Dynamo added more midfielders to their 2018 roster, it became increasingly unlikely that Ricardo Clark would return for another season.
It became official on Friday.
The free agent midfielder has signed with Columbus Crew SC, ending his 10-year tenure with the Dynamo. He was an original member of the club when it relocated from San Jose in 2006.
The only two seasons he has missed since then were 2010 and 2011 when he played in Germany and Norway.
Clark, 34, has made 337 appearances with 317 starts since arriving in MLS in 2003.
