Another home game another atrocious showing from PRO referees. The Dynamo had three players shown red cards and a head coach ejected in the tunnel as they fell 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City.
Just fifteen minutes into the game referee Chris Penso issued a straight red card to the Houston Dynamo’s Alejandro Fuenmayor after colliding with Gianluca Busio. Busio went up for a header and Fuenmayor ran in a jumped up on the play. The defender turned as he jumped and his shoulder hit Busio between the shoulder blades. Penso also issued a yellow card to Alberth Elis for expressing his displeasure with the call.
