The Dynamo's U.S. Open Cup dream ended in the final moments Wednesday night.
A 90th minute goal by Fabian Castillo gave visiting FC Dallas a 1-0 victory in the quarterfinals at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The dynamic Colombian gained possession near the top of the box and dribbled horizontally by Dynamo midfielder Collen Warner. Castillo ran into the box and touched it around defender Jalil Anibaba to create space near the left post.
Dynamo goalkeeper Joe Willis was a step off his line and away from the post. Castillo hit it off Willis' leg and into the net.
