Signed to his first MLS contract less than two months ago, the milestones are rolling in for Dynamo midfielder Joe Holland.
The biggest one yet came on Saturday night when he scored his first professional goal.
Holland knocked in a left-footed volley at the end of an impressive corner kick play while playing his second professional game with Rio Grande Valley FC, the Dynamo's USL affiliate. It was the Toros' second goal of a 3-0 victory over the Oklahoma City Energy.
On Monday, Holland said it boosted his confidence.
"It was a great moment," said Holland, who also assisted on Eric Bird's opening goal.
